Continuum Wind Energy to receive loan from Yes Band and IFC

Continuum Wind Energy is likely to get a loan of $150 million from Yes Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC).Continuum Wind Energy is setting up a wind based, 170 MW power plant in Madhya Pradesh (MP). IFC will lend $50 million while Yes Bank has committed to $100 million lending to Continuum. It is estimated that the project would generate 330 GW of power on an annual basis and would benefit ~5,00,000 people.The company, which began operations in 2009 has 1000 MW wind power in its current portfolio.
